wow
ok, so I ate here yesterday for my first time. I will have to say that the food kicks ass. Having lived in a predominantly Mexican area for 10 years, I have been spoiled with Mexican food...then I moved back to the Bay Area...the Mexican food here in general is lacking most of the flavor and is white washed. This place changed my mind about that. Thank GOD I work a block from here! - Matt , posted 10/05/06

Good for the price
Great ceviche & super nachos (with no meat). I don't eat meat and like this place for mexican food. - mad , posted 01/25/05

OK, What's the problem?
So like . . . I don't understand what the problem is here folks. We all know Taqueria Cancun wins everything. Hell, it even wins for best balloon animals or something just because their burritos are THAT good. They make up for anything. - Cameron , posted 01/23/05

best burrito in town
I went to just about every burrito joint in town (50 maybe?), and settled on this one. it's the best veggie burrito and a cool grub atmosphere. - Smuggler , posted 10/21/04

Great Food, get stuffed for under $5
Seriously, I eat at this place 4 times a week. At least. Tacos, Burritos, Tortas... it's all good. My friends tell me the meat items are great, but I have yet to try them. I usually get two vegi tacos- corn tortillas, beans, salsa, cheese, sour cream, and avocado slices. Amazing... and all for around $4! Highly Recommended. - Sean , posted 10/20/04

Cheap and Great!
Taqueria Cancun, located on Mission st. bet 18th and 19th, offers some of the mackest yum yums in the city. Their vegetarian burritos are totally awesome and cost less than 5 bucks. You really can't go wrong with one of those. Or much of anyting else.

Crappy vegetarian burritos - only meat eaters love this place
honestly, the most boring vegetarian burritos around. No extra veggies offered - you get beans & rice only. Not even those sauteed-to-death veggies you find elsewhere, nevermind tofu. And yes they use chicken stock when cooking the rice. - Kitten , posted 10/15/04

Best Burrittos in the city....
About 5 years ago, when I first came to the city a friend of mine took me here and said,"This is a city where you'll find God in a burritto."
I didn't realize he meant the one I was about to eat.

The guys at Cancun grill their tortillas instead of just steaming them, so you get this perfectly flaky, crisp, warm shell of tortilla wrapped around the freshest ingredients youll taste in the Mission...
Maybe the city.

Get the Super Chicken burritto, or if you're not that
hungry try the Super Chicken taco.
Everything is roughly $3.50 here, and comes with free chips and salsa (choice of two kinds.)
Make sure you try the incredible-hulk-green stuff.
Its damn hot, and addictive.

Best AUthentic Inexpensive Mexican restaurant in SF
Very authentic and flavorful. You can get a super burrito or super quesadilla for only 4.6$. I guarantee you will leave home with left-overs (if you order the super size)

Very homy. Not commercial. Colorful place. - Ling , posted 10/11/04

Awesome and cheap
There's another one further down, just south of where Valencia and Mission come together. It tends to be less crowded, but just as good. - Mark , posted 09/16/04
