if you haven't heard the underground new mexico synthpop band leiahdorus i highly recommend them. frontman jason smith's beautiful vocals, incredible piano skills, and lyrics combine to creat one of the best synthpop bands i've heard in a long time. we had the pleasure of having them open for one of my bands shows in new mexico, and i actually yelled at the venue for not having them headline because they were so much better than us....but in the end i suppose everyone got what they deserved because leiahdorus went on to get signed on a defferent drum records and my band is long gone. listen to the songs "indigent", "ashes, ashes", and "stars". you can buy their album at www.adifferentdrum.com or visit www.leiahdorus.com for more info and sound clips. - DJ verablue , posted 07/26/05 |
