if you're looking for authentic 'chinese food' then don't come here...um, ok?
and we don't need you to base your review on why you think for some reason it should be. this is a great fusion place and also very fast service if you're looking to eat and run. also the some of the healthiest fast food in town- they use all natural ingredients, organic veggies and such- and in my opinion, far from being 'bland!' - katrinka! , posted 11/01/06

This is cheap eats and cheap authenticity
If you don't care about the difference between Chinese, Vietnamese or Thai food, this is the place for you. The people that work there think the difference between Pad Thai and Chow Mein is the color of the sauce. The ingredience are bland and the dishes are oversauced. - roxy , posted 09/02/06

A few great staples, laid back atmosphere, reasonably priced.
When I lived on Seabright I'd frequent C.H.K. in my pajamas and flip flops, frequently getting the Spicy Dan or Gado Gado. Both of these dishes are around five bucks without any add-ons and enough food to take home with you.
I'd pass on any of the curries or the soups though, and if you're hankering for good chinese food I'd look elsewhere. This place is kind of doing it's only thing. I'd pass on the add-ons too, none of them add that much to a dish and they're pretty expensive. - Grace-Elizabeth , posted 12/13/05

Damn good organic cheap fastfood
Don't come here expecting authentic chinese food - but if you're into tasty as fuck, inexpensive, quick, bountiful, organic, yummy asian with a mexican flair food try it out - the big bowls are more than enough for two! - Lena , posted 06/23/05

Awesomely tasty, mostly organic!
Dan's Spicy Peanut is my favorite dish there. Another nice thing is that you can get them alone, or with a topping, such as Teriyaki Salmon or Green Curry Chicken. On Soquel at Seabright. - *Ali Baba* Alexandra , posted 01/16/05
