i actually never got to eat here. my boyfriend and i ordered an "indian pizza" for delivery and first waited for over an hour. we called them and they put us on hold for about 8 minutes, then came back and said they were on their way. 30 minutes later, still no food. we called again and they were very rude, put us on hold again, came back and said the delivery guy was just around the corner. another 20 minutes later, still no food. by then it had been over 2 hrs. since we placed our order. we called them and cancelled the order, however, we had used our credit card over the phone and had to call the bank to make sure it never posted. it was a huge pain in the ass and we didn't end up eating (from another pizza place) until 11pm. i won't ever be calling them again!!! - kareenirae , posted 01/21/06 |

Breads of India in Berkeley is better, b/c how often do you find 'free range organic' food in an Indian Restaurant (and not too expensive either)? But despite the asshole service people, this is the best freakin' pizza in the world. I've had pizza all over the world, and this stuff is .... good. If you ain't had a bite yet, you ain't lived. Try it, you'll like it. And while you're in the 'hood, try "Good Frikkin' Chicken". Man, that place rocks. - REkz , posted 03/29/05 |

The only pizza I feel is really great in the city is Indian Pizza. Zante and Star India both deliver a great one. For Italian pizza, the best I have found is Extreme Pizza. I especially like their Screaming Tomato pizza. That said, I just don't think people in SF know how to make a decent Italian pizza. Good luck! - Heather , posted 08/16/04 |
