Iyengar Teachers
The Yoga Society of San Francisco is great!
I was especially moved by the Iyengar hatha of Kate Ramsey, resident / teacher.

Yoga Society of San Francisco -
""""During the month of August 2006, I have been enriching my personal yoga practice and yoga teaching skills by going on a 3 week yoga studio tour of various yoga classes and yoga studios in the San Francisco Bay Area.
ynottony1.blogspo...

The first week of my tour included visiting the Yoga Teachers at Club One's Yerba Buena, Civic Center, Citi Group, and JCCSF locations.

Yoga Teacher - Marcelo

Marcelo will remind you of the premise and purpose of Yoga as stated in the first three yoga sutras by Patanjali. He will then take you through a yoga sequence which is managable and yet challenging. And to top it off, he will bring you to a state of calmness with various Pranayama (breathing) exercises.

Marcelo is a man with a loving heart
Marcelo is a man with a vast knowledge of Sanskrit, Hatha Yoga, and Pranayama.
Marcelo understands the importance of being present "in this very moment."

Attending his morning hatha yoga class is a great way to begin the day. And, he offers his classes as a gift to the community (free of charge).

Check him out. Why? Because from every teacher, there's an opportunity to learn something new (smile).

Wishing the best of all possible worlds,
Iyengar Yoga teacher,
