If you've been to the Winchester Mystery House, and let's face it, most of us Bay Area types have been dozens of times, you've seen all the weird doors and stair cases, but every Friday the 13th, and at Halloween, they do late-night Flashlight tours. The place gets a little freaky, and once in a while weird things happen (we had a window open on us on one tour). The place is kinda creppy, and by Flashlight, it's even better. We went on a group Flashlight tour and only the tour guide and one of the people touring used their flashlight. THat was awesome. Get as late a tour as you can, with a Midnight Tour being optimal. - Christopher , posted 09/11/04 |
