I reacall in the early seventies, I went from a math major in high school to an art/philosophy major in college-my brain switched hemispheres. My first painting was a pine cone spiral, a way of pulling myself out of my depression by creating artifact. Goddess began speaking to me in many ways, although She was still burried in my inconscious. I found ceremony and ritual through art, before I left my body for awhile, as my mother died. Spiraling into the universe, in the arms of my sweetheart, Jerry, I found the universal mother in yoga. While in art history, someting was calling me to Crete, where now many Goddess temples have been excavated, and Asherah raised Her comely head beneath Jehovah's grisly grip. My guide was Solomon, the star on my dog's face reminding me of the metaphysical knowledge burried just beneath the surface, coming from Thelemic metaphors.
