I've been a Watts Music store customer for at least 4 years now. Darren (owner) is there almost every day and is perhaps the most knowledgeable musical source I know. His ability to remember musical info and trivia is astounding, and he's a very nice and personable person, a rarity in the music store industry. If if he doesn't have what you want, he can get it. Sure, maybe you can find it cheaper on Amazon, but there's no way a small business can compete with a internet juggernaut like Amazon and if you "want it now", Amazon isn't going to help you. If you want to hear an album, he'll play it over the house system or you can listen to it on headphones and there's tons of local music at Watts as well: if you like Marin local music, there's a good chance you'll find it at Watts.
