 I went here a bunch of times, but as soon as the Metreon opened, this place slowed down a lot, and is harder to get to via public transportation then the Metreon, and there's not a whole lot of other things to do nearby it. Also when Century 20 opened up in Daly City, a lot more people from the southern areas of San Francisco stopped going there as well. - adrian , posted 08/07/06 |

Van Ness AMC rocks! They always play the newest movies, they have great Movie Watcher Rewards (Twizzlers or Whoppers for $1 when you buy something else), they have excellent popcorn, yummy frozen Coke, and the sound is great in all the theatres! I like the interior a lot...it's also fun to take out-of-towners that are used to level movie theatres (1 or 2 story buildings) here, so you can explain to them that SF land is at such a premium, even the movie theatres have to build straight up, not out. - l , posted 10/16/04 |
