too bad you can't give zero stars... 'cause that's what trend is worthy of.
don't go here for dreadlocks. kelli will tell you she does them and has done them for years (interestingly, she has no photos of them available, which should have been a red flag right from the start). however, her technique is sincerely questionable...she twists and compresses large sections of hair into the dread, rather than taking small sections and using significant backcombing to achieve more volume out of a smaller section of hair. it will seem like a good deal to go here for dreads, however you will end up with far fewer dreads than you ought to have and looking frankly like a wet rat because the dreads are so sticky with product (which is apparently also a big no-no because the residues from scented products inhibit the hair locking up). i ended up taking mine out less than 24 hours after getting them, and wasted $200. definitely not the "best top of the line service and treatment salon ever experienced" as she writes in all her promotions. i would question her other services as well and would encourage you to ask for pictures or talk to satisfied clients for the services you desire.
