Punk, Country, Headbanging, and the headquarters for Noise Pop! This place has a great diverse music lineup. The food is good, there is a nice outdoor patio with a ping pong table. Its a great hang! - Shawn , posted 02/14/05 |

I love the Jackpine Social Club nights on Sundays, and I swear by the patios on hot hot summer nights. But I think the thing I love the most about this place is that even though the patio can be packed elbow to elbow with hipsters, it's not a place to "be seen," it's a place to relax...not matter how hip you think you are. I feel more at home here than any bar in the entire city. And I'm not alone. Come down for a beer and don't forget to order some tasty grub from the grill. - Bonnie , posted 12/23/04 |

This is my local watering hole that has a great selection of beer full bar and a hug back outdoor area. they have free music on sunday afternoon and a lot of resonably price music during the evenings. Good looking rock chicks can be seen her not too infrequently. - Bob , posted 10/21/04 |

Thee Parkside is one of the best places in SF to see LOCAL live music. Yeah, there are lots of other venues out there that show bands but few have te local focus that Thee Parkside has. And, they have a great outdoor patio that most people don't know about. Its kinda like a cross between Zeitgeist and Bottom of the Hill. Occaisonally you can rub elbows with famous rockers who have come out to see the local talent. Trust me--you'll like it. - Darian , posted 10/05/04 |
