having lived in larger cities, i am usually disapionted by the restaurants in Santa Cruz, alot of them are too expensive for unimpressive food. on that note the Crepe place is a welcome suprise. - Mouse , posted 03/22/06 |

I love crepes but I have ordered a couple here that have not been very good. Hint: try to order the crepes that are filled with things that should normally be in a crepe. Sometimes their creativity gets the better of them in the kitchen and it ends up being a little subpar. Also, they totally overstuff the crepes and I personally believe in the less is more approach when it comes to crepes. It's not supposed to be a burrito, you know... - caitlin , posted 09/02/05 |

Okay, so it's not super fine dining. But there are few things better on a sunny morning than heading over to The Crepe Place and getting a salmon crepe, with a big cup of mediocre coffee, and sitting out in the courtyard. Last time I was there, we brought in our own coffee and they didn't hassle us. Also, on Sundays they have live music in the courtyard, or at least used to. The Crepe Place is one of the best spots in town. It has a winning combination of great food, great wait staff, nice decor and lovely patio area, and super resonable prices even! If you haven't been yet, I'm sad for you. - :*::Maya::*: , posted 02/23/05 |

I love Santa Cruz and The Crepe Place is one of the places I like to go, especially when I've come to see a show at the Cayuga Vault which is a few doors down. There's a nice selection of crepes and friendly service. The desserts are decadent. The back seating area is really nice. So you should go. - Unsubscribed , posted 01/30/05 |
