Where are all the snakes?
Maybe the blame lies with the inserted regional park directory from The Pioneer News, but either way my experience was very below what I'd hoped.

This event was described as an educational class on local area snakes. As soon as I arrived, on time, I was rushed out of the Welcome Center!

I expected to see a live exhibit when there were only 3 common snakes on display. So I asked the guide if he had any sharp tailed snakes and he handed me a pamphlet. Inside the pamphlet no sharp tailed snakes were found.

Apparently I was mislead into thinking this was an event for all people who are passionate about their region's natural wonders because it seemed as though the whole program was tailored to children.

There was a hike and watercoloring table as well, that the newspaper hadn't mentioned.

2 stars for the rude, uninterested guide. - onlineamber , posted 01/24/07
