A waste of time
The food is overpriced, lacks flavor and is served by imbeciles. I'd take the old St. Francis back any day. - Hygge , posted 11/09/05

Best old time soda fountain
Get your old time shakes and tuna melts here! This old soda fountain was renovated and resuscitated by a mission hipster who knows his penny candy.

It was rumored that they used to sell love letters from teenage boys here... - Andrea , posted 10/21/04

ice cream makes any day a Funday!
The #1 place for sit-down ice cream treats. Hand-made shakes, cones, and sundaes, plus grill items and a collection of their own historic menu cards. The new St. Francis Fountain has the added bonus of novelty candy sold from a counter at the front. Where else can you find Charlie's Angels trading cards? - Alexandra , posted 10/18/04

SF's oldest, and greatest fountain shop
This is a great place, that serves Mitchell's Ice Cream. they serve all sorts of shakes and malts, and all sorts of floats, including Guinness floats. don't forget to buy something from "80's kitsche" counter. Awesome grilled cheese too. - ColonelTCB , posted 10/15/04
