I've lived in Marin Co. for 20 years and have dined at many of its Thai restaurants over the years. Signature Thai on B St. is the best of them all. The menu is extensive, the food excellent, the service excellent, the decor nicely done. I'm a particular fan of the Siamese rolls, green papaya salad, Eggplant Delight - but have enjoyed every dish sampled there. - Patricia , posted 07/10/06 |

Signature Thai used to be excellent, but over the course of the past year (6/2004 to 5/2005) it has really gone downhill. The service is dismal, the vegetables aren't fresh, and their famous clear noodle soup is a muddy, stinky, oversalted porridge. It breaks my heart because my wife and I always loved the place. a beautiful little joint. nice and classy. i recomend the angle wings and yum ner. always wear clean socks with no holes thoe, it is a tradition to take of your shoes in their raised seating area. - sid , posted 10/09/04 |

Don't you always find that the best restaurants are always in the most awkward places. Like the hot Vietnameise joint on 6th & Mission. Well since Marin County doesn't have a ghetto, this is the closest thing. Signature Thai is located right next to the St. Vincent's mess hall where all of the homeless get their meals. So twice a day you have to manuever your way through an unsavory bunch on the sidewalk to get to this gem. Once you get there, you must remove your shoes to sit on the floor pads in a raised dining area with sunken tables. Great atmosphere! The food is amazing. My personal favorite is the BBQ chicken salad, with spicy peanut sauce. They also have a great coconut soup.
