first book i've found on the subject that wasn't a complete waste of money. quite possibly way over the head of most undergrads, reccomend sittin with your trusty american heritage dictionary when reading. very intense, well worth the price tag ($100) quoted from amazon: Shamanism, humanity's most ancient spiritual practice, has achieved a dramatic modern resurgence.
