Their produce is often flavorless, they encourage you to buy more than you need with labels like "20 for $20" in large print hovering above "$1 for 1" in small print, their "fresh bread" is inedible, they do everything they can to collect your personal information, and they're part of a corporate chain which forces its employees to greet you by name when you check out, but hey, they're open 24 hours! If you need to shop for groceries after Trader Joe's and just about every other place closes, and you live in Southwestern Sunnyvale, this place is a godsend. - Raj , posted 04/24/05 |
