Paul was a prima donna!
I had a tattoo retouched and added to at Sacred Rose a few years ago. Based on Paul's "artist statement," I chose him to do the work.
What a jerk! He kept me waiting over an hour at the consultation, then gave me major attitude, and had the audacity to tell me that he was an artist and no one knew how to talk to artists! When I went back for the work, he didn't know who I was, had lost the design and was generally out of it. I don't think I'd go back-at least not to him. - Nada , posted 09/27/07

Fuck Yeah
It is Amy Justen's healing qualities that makes me a true blue client of the sacred rose! - Intuitive , posted 09/26/07

Crab
Paul did the crab on the back of my neck at Inkslingers in 2001. I was thoroughly pleased with the result, and as this was my first tattoo, he made me less nervous and has a great bedside manner. - Jenn , posted 11/05/06

The place where I got my lotus
This is the place where I got my last one done. I went in with a vauge idea of what I wanted and she (Amy) designed it for me. I would totally go back to her for my next one. - Kristin , posted 06/22/05

None better
I went to Sacred Rose last spring on the recommendation of a friend to a design done. Amy Justen did the work, and it came out perfect! I couldn’t be more pleased. Also, from what I hear the other artists at Sacred Rose are just as good. Clean, friendly, what more could you want? - Steven , posted 12/23/04

Best Little Tattoo Shop In SF
You can go into just about any tattoo shop in SF and find talented artists and Sacred Rose has some of the best. What sets them apart is they have heart and soul. If yer gonna wear it for the rest of your life, shouldn't you have someone that gives a damn put it on? It's the difference between a so-so (or shitty) tattoo experience and a great one. Without any hesitation I'd recommend Karen Roze, Amy Justen, Nick Vargas, and Paul Taylor. Check out their books. Their art will speak for itself. - Spider, Jef Leopa... , posted 10/19/04
