The best kept secret for sushi in SF is Ryoko's. Don't go for the atmosphere - it's not all swanky or trendy or such. It's a little mom and pop shop that you can't even see from the street save for a door at the top of a flight of stairs which decends down to the restaurant. But ... the atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the fish is simply outstanding. I've been to many many places around SF and beyond, and this place consistently tops my list. On top of that, it's the perfect place for we 'late nighters'. They've always got good beats bumpin', and it's open from 6pm - 1:30am. It's at 619 Taylor between Post and Sutter (about a block from Ruby Skye). Get there, it's worth it. - Unsubscribed , posted 11/04/05 |
