protein in a vegan diet
I eat lots of fruit and vegetables and some of them have protein, but when I need a protein boost Primal Strips are perfect. I used to eat beef jerky and Primal Strips are just as good or better. - Zack , posted 10/27/05

THE BEST!
I adore these protein goodies! They taste like real meat to me too-and I love the Teryaki flavor the best. When I last bought them they were a little pricey, but worth the cost! - Ruthy , posted 08/25/05

these are the BOMB!
These are by far my favorite snack, I like the lime and thai peanut ones the best. They're inexpensive at places like Rainbow Grocery in San Francisco, but you can also get them online:

Again: vegan, and awesome. - Jenni , posted 08/08/05

Yummy protein-rich snack!
These veggie jerky snacks are high in protein, low in fat and calories, naturally have no cholesterol, and are downright delicious! Of all the veggie jerkies I have tried, Primal Strips have the moistest texture so you're not left fighting with the jerky just to eat it. I really like all of their flavors. I love lime, so the mesquite lime especially appeals to me. They're ideal to take on hikes, camping, or trips, since they last forever, are small, and need no refrigeration. They come in 6 different flavors and you can buy them at most natural food stores. You have got to try them! - Christina , posted 08/07/05
