With so many good thai restaurants in the Bay Area, it's hard to choose a favorite - instead I've started picking the best places for certain dishes. The pad thai at Plearn is awesome, not greasy or fishy/sour. If you get it for take-out you get a fully stuffed standard take-away container, enough for 2-3 people, for like $6-7. IF you haven't gone here, then you haven't had Thai food. It's amazing. I'm convinced they make everything from scratch. Friends who have been in the Peace Corps or have simply travelled to Thailand say that this is the most authentic place they've been to. You MUST eat here. Yum. - Star , posted 10/07/04 |
