Oh, Philz! At 24th and Folsom in the sunny Mission (in other words, four blocks from my house), resides the best coffee in San Francisco, and even if it didn't I would still go there. The staff is friendly and amusing, the owner is the sweetest man ever, there's free wireless and three couches in addition to tables and chairs. What more could anyone want? Pastries?
