I'd put this in the same vein as Olive Garden, although they probably wouldn't like that. The food is not really worth mentioning... there's nothing very attractive but the price, so if that's a driving factor for you, then you can't go too wrong here. - Jesse , posted 10/15/04 |

Yeah yeah, I know, it's lame to recommend chain restaurants...but I can't help it that this is one of my favorite dinner joints in the Castro. Reasonably broad menu; very knowledgable staff; everything's delicious; prices hover around $10/entree. For your money, you get a heaping portion of classy. Good dessert and wine options. Very tidy single-user restroom. An unnerving wall of mirrors and the elbow-bumping closeness of the tables detracts slightly, but the adorable waiter with the tight plaid pants makes up admirably for these shortcomings. - Matt , posted 10/15/04 |
