Great little consumer product for discovering music/bands you may never have heard of. This is essentially a matching/personalization/collaborative filtering engine (eg "if you like this - then your like this") that helps with finding music that suits your taste. The matching engine and personalization software is powered by the Music Genome Project™, Pandora's
proprietary database. This database spans sixty years of commercial music and hundreds of thousands of recordings. I like to create my 'lists' and have this app run while I'm working. It's like my own little personal jukebox. - Elan , posted 02/02/06
