This is a wonderful hike... and you can always make it longer and harder but heading up the Old Coast Hwy to the 'Towers' or over the montain to Devils Slide. A definate must do! - Bug House , posted 09/05/06 |
 Wonderful nature hike just minutes from SF. Go to San Pedro Valley Park in Pacifica and go to the visitors center to find out how to climb the Montara Mountain. Once you reach the top (after about a 1.5 hr hike) you will see Mt. Tam, Mt. Diablo, All of the B.A. Bridges, as well as Stanford and the lovely Pacific Ocean. The walk down is only about 50 minutes.
