I cannot emphasize enough how quality this place is!!! Their fish looks like all the pictures you see on Sushi/Sashimi menus. PERFECT. Not only does everything look amazing, it tastes amazing as well. Great service, clean space, and not too badly priced considering how excellent the food is. No wasabi needed here. I went there for dinner recently, and was really disappointed. Even though the restaurant was about 1/3 full, we waited ages for our food (which was mostly sashimi, so it's not like they were COOKING it!). The bowls of miso soup they brought us were about 1/2 full, if that, and it was tepid. The staff was pretty unfriendly, too. When our food FINALLY came, it was just "ok". For the price, you got a decent amount, but it wasn't anything I'd ever go back for. I'd MUCH rather visit the local sushi boat place, even their sashimi is more fresh, and much less pricey! - B-Qat , posted 03/21/05 |
