I brought in five or six pairs of boots over the course of a few weeks, and Hector did a great job. (He's the only guy that I ever saw working there). I think my boots helped pay for his recent trip to Disneyland with his family. A resole/heel runs $40 there (as of mid-2005), which is lower than anywhere else I called in the city. Can't claim he's better -- I didn't try the others -- but I have no complaints and I'm pleased by the price. I'll be heading back when any of my ten pairs need resoling. BTW, the shop is two blocks from the 24th St. BART station, on 22nd near Mission. Hours are 1-7 Tu-Th, 10-7 Fr, 10-5 Sat -- as of mid-2005. - Richard , posted 08/13/05 |

You can take your most delicate sandals, your luxury name heels, your vintage leather purse -- with no fear. This is the highest quality shoe repair in the city, and it's in the heart of the Mission.
