Every summer for the past sixteen years the San Jose Downtown Association has hosted free concerts in the park. The music ranges from rock to r&b, jazz and even some really good reggae. A few weeks ago i saw eek-a-mouse put on an excellent show, unfortunatley i missed Barrington Levy's perfomance the month prior. There is always a large turnout for the concert regardless of the act, and you can also find several food vendors. These events are always held @ Plaza de Cesar Chavez (at Market and San Carlos streets) starting July 7, 2005. - Aaron , posted 09/10/04 |
