Elevation Salon and Cafe has a wonderful internship program for just graduated cosmetologists to gain experience in the real world. By employing the use of "hair models" - i.e. you, the client enjoys a quality cut in an upscale salon at a "school" price - $25. The big difference is the stylist, in my case ~Leslie, has already graduated school and is supervised by a senior stylist in the salon. Leslie is currently looking for hair models (women or men) that would be interested in creative styles. Elevations also has color interns and Michelle did a great job transforming my sun bleached hair into a consistent color with nice highlights.
