"Is "_" Here Yet?"
You can always get what you want-if comes in folded up paper and costs $20-from the "old man" who rolls in about 11:45pm... - Unsubscribed , posted 02/25/05

The Best of the worst?
Sometimes the Kilowatt is great. A great place, pool tables, people I know, good tunes. Then for some reason, if you're not wearing your trucker hat just right or sporting enough tatoos the place gets a "vibe". It doesn't happen often but it does happen here. - Pete , posted 01/12/05

Free pool all day Sunday
The Kilowatt is already know for being one of the better places to play bar pool in the city. However on Sunday's it becomes the best of because quality bar pool players come from all over to play for free all day. - Jon , posted 10/16/04

Kilowatt is a great local spot!
Lots of bars to choose from in the Mission 'hood, but Kilowatt is one of the standards. Not too polished... but the real deal. Killer beer selection to boot. And centrally located to venture forth on other adventures. - Chris , posted 10/04/04

Young (20 somethings), Fun, and Tatooed
Killowat is a good watering hole on the 16th/Valencia strip. Good beers on tap, lots of pool tables. You can even play darts. Tends to be a younger crowd, but who doesn't like that? motorcycle crowd, tattoos, occasional dog. Think Zeitgeist lite. Afterwards saunter over to Elixir, Dalva, or any other of the numerous bar offerings in the neighborhood.

UPDATE: 10/4/04
Just went back their Friday eve to meet some friends. Wasn't as young a crowd as I've seen in the past (young being 21-25). Definitely more of the 23 to 35 year old crowd. - onlineDarian , posted 10/04/04
