The Global Insurrection Against Corporate Occupation
Recently, I've been listening to the daily podcasts from Karma Banque (www.karmabanqueradio.com or www.streetiq.com/dir/KARMABANQUE.shtml) and have found the insights from these shows to be profoundly important and necessary. Max Keiser, former Wall Street broker, turned financial activist, hosts the show to talk about how the daily financial news precedes headlines, successfully demonstrating that price precedes news. He describes a corporate hegemony and entrenched monopolists found at the top of the World's Banks and Corporations staging political and military actions in an effort to capitalize upon the people's ignorance and passivity. I cannot say that I fully understand the intricate workings of this system, but each time am learning more about how individual buyers need to increase their monetizing power through boycotts of some of the world's most insideous corporations in an effort to save the humanity from the impending ecological calamaties being caused by these corporations. He holds out as a last flickering hope the free and altruistic economies upheld by the internet through websites like youtube.com (and perhaps, even tribe.net is part of that as well), which promotes free content & file-sharing as a means of preventing the consumption and brainwashing offered by governmental and mainstream media sources.

I would like to encourage all of my friends and my friends' friends to Educate Themselves on this truly revolutionary stance in which we need to protect our human rights and our civil rights through an active engagement against the corporate occupation of the human imagination.
