The Best in Santa Cruz
"Excellent Service and Workmanship." Jim Ludy's Automotive is very customer satisfaction orientated, and easily accommodates my schedule. I've had all my cars serviced at Ludy's for over 25 years. The quality of work and service is even better since Ken Jenkins purchased the shop. I have a 16 year old Honda with around 190,000 miles thanks to the great maintenance work that's been done; I've had no major replacement or repair cost. Ken saves me a lot of time by sending my car for a Smog Certificate after it's been serviced, and I really appreciate that kind of customer service. I feel I can safely drive my old car anywhere and at anytime because I trust the quality of parts and the work that is done at Ludy's. - Suzan , posted 05/13/09

Finding a good auto mechanic is difficult — this will make it easier
For many years I suffered along with SC auto repair shops that were over–priced, mediocre and sometimes dishonest. In 1997, my sister discovered Jim Ludy's Automotive. Their prices were reasonable and the service great. Jim Ludy sold his shop a few years ago to retire. The new owner, Ken, is even better than Jim was.

He's generous, helpful, honest and a perfectionist. He and his mechanics are top–notch. They treat your car like a good doctor treats you; they keep it well maintained and running at the top of it's game. I've tried the rest. Jim Ludy's is the best (in SC).
