Save yourself the trouble. I sent my Ipod in after it was diagnosed w/ a bad battery. After not hearing back from them I called and they alerted me that my hard-drive was fried. They gave me three very unhelpful options: 1. They will send back unfixed for $29.95 2. They will fix hard-drive for an additional $109.95 on top of the $54 I've already paid 3. Do nothing and they will keep my Ipod They were extremely unflexible and not very easy to deal with. Please learn from my mistake and by no means use this service. In my opinion they are extremely unreputable. If you are lucky enough to read this posting, I just saved you a lot of trouble!!! After struggling for over a YEAR with Apple to see what I could do to get my partner's iPod out-of-warranty repair, we despaired and assumed that since Apple considers their iPods to be disposable, we'd never be able to fix it! However, there is finally a reasonable solution! iPodResQ fixed the iPod's cracked LCD screen for less than anyone had quoted us, and with next day air shipping, in 4 DAYS! With multiple email updates, I always knew where the iPod was, and what to do next.
