Beautiful space, sometime too bright
This is a historical place that looks really cool and draws some great unknow talent. Good indie shows come here that might be too big for The Bottom of the Hill. - Pete , posted 01/12/05

beautiful place
This is a great place to see a band. Unlike other similar sized venues, this one has a lot of character and style. - Eileen , posted 11/18/04

Best SF mid-size live music venue
With gorgeous victorian ornamentation, and a prime balcony for people and show-watching, this is in my top 3 for live music venues in SF. Only area for improvement would be for them to offer Stella or Anchor on tap. Please note the address listed is all wrong. The venue is on O'Farell, next to the O'Farrell brother theater, near Polk St. see www.gamh.com for more details - Erika , posted 10/01/04

Best place for live music in SF!
They have the coolest layout and interior, great variety of musical acts, no age restrictions, serve alcohol, and have low ticket prices. The Greatest! - Brady , posted 09/10/04
