Best Sushi in Palo Alto
Fuki Sushi has the best sushi in the Palo Alto area. They are a bit expensive, but it is well worth the price. - laney , posted 10/17/04

Best Japanese restaurant in Palo Alto
This restaurant offers an elegant, tranquil environment where you don't have to scream to talk with your dining companion. The sushi is a little on the expensive side but always fresh and beautifully presented. The tempura is light and non-greasy, which is refreshing. - Michele , posted 09/13/04

Exciting dishes to compliment top notch sushi
If you want some serenity to go with your dining experience that includes top quality sushi - bright red tuna - fuki sushi is a must try for sushi in the South Bay. Besides the amazing sushi, make sure to try some of the interesting and delicious hot and cold non- sushi items which are meticously prepared, such as anything tofu and some of the soups which take 20 minutes to prepare. enjoy! - Daniel , posted 09/11/04

THE best sushi I've eaten
I've never had such tasty, fresh sushi as I've had here. When I want to go somewhere special, this is my choice. Parties in the private tatami rooms are a blast, and their sake collection is one of the best in the area (8 out of 10). The prices are expensive, but the quality of the food and service is completely worth it. - Danielley , posted 09/09/04

Best Japanese Restaurant in Palo Alto
Fuki Sushi is probably the best sushi restaurant in Palo Alto. It's not a cheap place to eat, but it's worth every penny. The restaurant features a full bar and generous, well-made cocktails as well as a wide assortment of sakes and domestic and Japanese beers. The Spicy Agadashi Tofu appetizer is a house specialty, and it's delicious. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of Japanese entrees and varieties of sushi (including Natto Make for the truly daring). Seasonal appetizers (my favorite is still the assorted vegetables, each presented with a different miso sauce) change as often as weekly, so there is always something new to try at Fuki Sushi. It is very easy for a vegetarian to eat a complete meal at Fuki Sushi (without having to make a meal of cucumber rolls, edamame and salad). The service staff is always neat, professional, attentive and friendly. A traditional Kaiseki Dinner in a private Tatami room can be reserved for an entire evening, but must be reserved four days in advance. Reservations aren't required to eat at Fuki Sushi, but they are recommended. I have waited an hour for a table there and the meal is always worth the wait. - Unsubscribed , posted 09/09/04
