YUM!
High quality, excellently prepared food- very moderately priced considering. Tons of vegetarian options. Wait staff is genuine and cool. Weekend brunch is amazing and dinner is not half bad. Adore this place! - , posted 04/24/07

Amazing Vegan Brunch on the Weekends
Probably my favorite restaurant in Berkeley. They have lots of choices for vegans/vegetarians and their vegan bunch options on the weekends is just amazing, creative and unique.
They are also very good service-wise and it is just a generally nice place to go.
Highly recommended.
My only gripe would be that they only serve weekend brunch 'till 1:30! - onlinesponge , posted 03/29/07

the food and all the vibes are good

Great dinners and brunches, including lots of vegetarian options, a red and olive color scheme, very downtempo and serene ambient music, Fellini posters, livingroom comfort, coffee drinks, fresh orange juice, and the friendly owner Jeff...

This place could not be improved.

Delicious, healthy food and great service
We go to this place at least once a week. Brunch is awesome and it makes a very romantic dinner out as well. The service is excellent and the food is creative and healthily prepared.

Great for vegans and vegetarians, too. One of my favorite places in Berkeley. - Ensign Benson , posted 02/28/06

Best vegan brunch!
With 6 vegan menu items, and often more than 1 vegan special, Fellini's is now my favorite choice for brunch in the bay area! It's not too spendy, and they have fresh squeezed orange juice! My favorite item on the menu is the mushroom hash, which is tasty and rich, either with eggs or tofu scramble.

Also a treat for non vegans, and even non-vegetarians, there is something here for everyone!

We have also been there for dinner; they have great wine specials on different days of the week, and their pasta is great. - Jenni , posted 12/20/05

Good service, mediocre food, hard on the wallet
I was a little disappointed with the veg dishes, they just seemed a little bland to me. The waitress was really sweet and they gave us a free dessert when they goofed on a dish, although I hadn't even complained or anything. Worth trying again. - Unsubscribed , posted 10/15/05

on the weekly rotation
this place has great style, it's both casual and chic. The food is fresh and yummy, friendly service. Put it on the weekly rotation - it won't break the budget. - heather , posted 08/23/05

My morning stop
I used to go here every morning for my morning coffee and mushroom croissant. The super friendly baristas was another plus! - V , posted 06/20/05

Fellini fails with large parties
Fellini management fails when attempting to accomodate large parties. I found this out the hard way when I planned my graduation day brunch with the restaurant’s manager/owner, Jeff, three weeks in advance of the occasion. In the planning stages, Jeff was extremely enthusiastic and hospitable, and since I had a large party of 30 people (and I informed him there could potentially be even more guests), he assured me that he would reserve the spacious front room of the restaurant. I spoke with him several times before the event to confirm this arrangement. The morning of my graduation brunch, I arrived at Fellini to find that Jeff divided my guests into two separate smaller rooms in the back of the restaurant, explaining that, “when you have a large group, not all the guests talk to each other anyway.” When I explained to him that this was a breach in our initial agreement, he told me that I could, “go find another restaurant” if I had a problem, knowing that my guests were arriving at that moment. Beware of planning an event for a large party at Fellini; prior agreements with the owner, Jeff, run the risk of producing utter disappointment. - Caroline , posted 06/14/05

My favorite restaurant of late
I am a total foodie and have been to 75% of the good restaurants in Berkeley. So, for me to say that it is my favorite is a pretty big deal.

The owner Jeff is great. I have had several largish parties there and they are very accomodating. The wine selection is excellent and affordable. The cioppino and pizzas and, well everything is great! - DeAnna , posted 05/01/05

great food and wine
we were very pleased with the pesto manicotti and mushroom risotto. also got a good bottle of wine...look out for special wine deals on mondays and tuesdays. staff was prompt and friendly (perhaps too friendly if you're antisocial). very relaxed, fairly quiet on this sunday night. save room for chocolate mousse at dessert! - Amanda , posted 11/21/04

Good Date Restaurant!
This lovely pasta/pizza restuarant is fairly new to the neighborhood, so it's rarely crowded. The food is delicious but there's one draw back, they don't serve any dishes with red meat or pork. So, you can't get a pepperoni pizza. However, all of the other dishes are really yummy. I like it most for the ambiance. The walls painted reds, dark yellows and greens and there's cool Italian movie posters everywhere. All of the wait staff is hip/cool but really nice. - zeena , posted 10/08/04

Mmmm....Pizza
I am a lucky man. I can walk to Fellini and get pizza anytime I want. Thin crust, great toppings, vegan friendly. Slices at lunch from 11-3pm. Great coffee bar during the daytime. This is a place where you can take your bros and have some beers, or take your parents and have some wine. Nice folks, good service, great food. - Joe , posted 10/07/04
