Well, nothing can be claimed these days for various reasons. But I would look into it, if I was sufferering from such illness. Rene Caisse, a Canadian nurse combined 4 herbs, Burdock Root, Slippery Elm Inner Bark, Sheep Sorrel and Indian Rhubarb Root to make this tincture that.... well go look up "Essiac" and learn for yourself.
