I have been going to The End Up since the mid 90's when I finally started to find the hidden gems in the city after living here for three years or so. The most progressive house music scene in the city by far. You may see Charlotte or John Early or shOOey on any given sunday morning which is by far the best time go as far as I am concerned. Watching the sunrise on the back patio, listening to the nest in new and old hits while hanging with friends both new and old is an honor to the old owners as well as the people around you. This is a hollowed instution that I hope will be around for my kids to go dancing to when they will hang out around the fountain and talk aboutt when their old fart parents used to come here..... - harrison , posted 05/03/06 |

as it has ever since the days of disco when I ended up there, through the after-raves of the '90s and early morning massages from Geoff up on the poop deck, through the oh-ohs of the 21st century: consistently THE place to end up! - Will Beat Hippie ... , posted 12/24/05 |

If they don't want people to come in and spend $ at their establishment, they should turn off the lights and lock the doors and we'll keep going on to the next bar: there's no need to pay a punk-ass kid to sit there and be rude and run off the paying customers just because he's uptight and THINKS he is kewl... - K. I would suggest going when its an anniversary party for any of the Hosted nights there. A gazillion people show up and its not the usual cracker ass crowd that is usually there , wearing thier sunglasses on a 7am sunday morning.. I cannot complain, I have been there..and have had some great nights there. The DJS are good, atmosphere alright-bartenders -eh. Bloody marys yummy! - Unsubscribed , posted 03/21/05 |

We've had to reinvent ourselves many times over the last 30 years, but 1 thing will never change - the Endup's freaky, fun, SF underground vibe - Alison , posted 02/25/05 |

do a bunch of ebombs and make a load of fake friends until 2p the next day. Truly the last of it's kind - Count , posted 02/25/05 |

It's the awesomest club, where you have a bar, a pool table, an outdoor patio where you can hear the music, a fire-place, and (of course) a dance floor with good djs a lot of the time... yea! um HI! - pand0ra , posted 01/14/05 |

This is probably one of the last real SF clubs that are still around. Primarily gay (especially Fag Fridays) but draws a ton of women looking to not get groped and dance to some good house music. If you're really into the music this is a cool place. It's even got a back patio. - Pete , posted 01/12/05 |

Love the Fag Friday crowd, must be in the right head space to be there in the wee hours of the morning. If you're still out at 7 am on a weekend, you're at the EndUp. - mary , posted 10/15/04 |

This is a great bar that's been around since 1973. Sooner or later everyone ends up at the End Up... - Darian

A great place to hear great music and meet all types of people. Everyone is Great! Everyone is nice! the only bad thing is that it closes from 4am to 6am. BUT it does re open at 6am. awesome and 21 & over. - Satine , posted 10/06/04 |

Lots of cool people, great space
Go to the End-Up. It's Fag Fridays on Friday night. Lots of cool people in a really great space. There's a fire place, patio out in the back with trees, pool tables, coucehs, and decent house music (especially when it gets later). Definitely good times. - Vernon , posted 05/06/04 |
