sinatra has supposed to have said once that the key to his career was "breath control". I have no idea about her breath control, but I heard Darcy Jean the other day at the Top of the Mark, which is otherwise a little full of tourists for me, and while I didn't get to pay as much attention as I'd have liked, I thought she was great--she "read" the standards well and her voice seemed like a fuller version of Stacy Kent's.
