Sell your arts, crafts & stuff on eBay
Announcing the opening of an eBay consignment business....

Do you make arts and crafts or have other stuff that you would like to sell on eBay, but you are not exactly proficient with a computer, digital camera, photo editing software, HTML, or the Internet? Would you like to sell things online to a national or international market, but would rather not mess around with Paypal, finding shipping supplies, and dragging everything down to the Post Office?

I can take the trouble out of everything for you. I have the experience and the system required to handle your sale from start to finish. Don't have the money to pay up front? Don't worry -- I work solely on commission. If your items don't sell, you pay nothing.

Here's how it works: You bring the merchandise to sell on consignment to me. I do research on eBay to find out the proper pricing, take quality photographs, and write a professional description of your item to present it online. I handle the correspondence with potential buyers and keep you informed about your listings. If your item sells, I handle taking the payment, package it, and ship it to the buyer. Finally, after the buyer is satisfied with the transaction, I pay you, minus my commission.

I can sell pretty much anything that weighs less than 70 lbs. that will fit in standard-sized shipping boxes, as well as large, flat, oversized items (such as paintings and mirrors) up to 36" x 42" x 5". I specialize in arts & crafts, and I can also sell women's clothing in typical sizes (inquire to see whether I can sell your item).

I will take items of any value, but because of the time it takes to create each listing, my commission includes a flat charge, which means that it is probably not worth your while to sell an item, unless it is worth about $50-75. I do offer discounts when you have identical or very similar items, and I can repeat the same listing. (Also, if you have several of the same kind of item, but with only a small individual value, I can always combine them into wholesale lots.)

My commission is $20, plus 20% of the first $1000, plus 15% of any value over $1000. For repeated listings, I only charge $10 instead of $20 for each sale after the first.

I offer a few different options for how you can sell your items: You can sell them in an auction, or in a fixed price listing. I can also set up an auction with a Buy It Now price, which allows buyers to buy your item immediately at a fixed price, if there are not yet any bids.

Did I mention that I use ecologically friendly packaging materials whenever possible? If your item requires cushioning, it will be packed in with biodegradable cornstarch peanuts.

I have over a year of experience selling arts & crafts on eBay for a private client. Now I am opening my business to the public.

If you have anything you would like to sell, please e-mail me at ebay@danielburton.com. Or, if you like, you can call me at (510) 504-8708.
