This is no secret to locals; the place is always jammed. Fairly good deals on closeouts. Backroom has furniture and other home accessories for a small discount. I recommend negotiating a price on those items (yes, you can do it!). Rest of the store is like any other Crate and Barrel, only 6 months ago. It's full of the merchandise replaced by the latest items in the retail stores. Not to mention, the lovely Fourth Street area is a great place to shop, get coffee at Peet's, and shop chi-chi shops. - Unsubscribed , posted 11/10/04 |

smack in the middle of Berkeley, the Crate and Barrel Outlet is a handy little secret. Not as much selection as the regular stores, but if you recently smashed all your dishes or need a full set of margarita glasses, definitely come here. - Unsubscribed , posted 10/18/04 |
