Not happy with office staff
The vets are great; the vet techs are great, but dealing with the receptionist is not a pleasant experience. She makes no extra effort to help you, even in an emergency, and can be borderline snotty. It's enough to make me go somewhere else. - Ann , posted 07/14/07

Excellent Care for your Animal Companions
I have taken all of my dogs to CVH since 1996. Great Vets, all 4 of them, they provide excellent care, offer guidance on behavior issues and nutrition, and really love the animals. We have owned medium sized dogs (corgi/terrier mix, retriever/aussie mix) and large dogs (Greyhound, German Shepherd) and I was impressed by their knowledge of breed specific problems and health concerns. I switched to them from my old vet when I sought a second opinion on my aussie mix and they correctly diagnosed the problem (cancerous growth on a leg nerve) and she lived for 2 more years. Caring staff members who have worked there for many years. - Dean , posted 11/21/06

Animal Cruelty at Claremont Vet
We just picked my cat up and he was absolutely traumatized by this place. We brought him in for grooming and he came out looking like a leukemia patient. The worst of it was they told us they fought with him all day trying to get him groomed. I would have preferred they just telephone me at the beginning to inform me of his resistance, rather than going at him all day. His paws are a mess and the rest of him is in terrible shape. - jEssie , posted 06/27/06

Kind and Professional Pet Care
My brief experience with the veterinary staff at the claremont vet hospital was very positive. They saw my cat through the last few months of her life with compassion and professional responsibility. the care was attentive, appointments are easy to make, with little waiting. Everyone was very supportive and compassionate (I had my cat put to sleep there). Most importantly they helped me make the decision by providing all the information in a supportive environment and explaining to me the ramifications of those options. They are dedicated to the care of animals and the happiness of their humans ;) - Medusa , posted 10/09/04
