Right across the street from Osha Thai (Valencia between 19th & 20th) is this local gallery. The art changes every month and they have an opening reception the First Friday of Every month. There's food, wine and sometimes even entertainment. The openings are fun, and there's usually a good crowd. The art is reasonably priced and very diverse. It is an artist owned and operated collective and I understand 80% of the sale price goes to local artists. They are open Wednesday-Sunday noon-9pm and the person sitting at the desk is one of the artists that are showing. So you never know who you'll meet! - Trish , posted 02/25/06 |
