i live right around the corner from this place, i dont know that i would cross town for it, in fact, if it were more than a few blocks away, i might never have tried it, there are so many thai places to choose from. but if you live in the neighborhood and havent tried it, you should. folks there are incredibly nice, the food is almost never amazing but always very good, and the prices are great. a nice break from the nonstop barrage of burrito joints in the mission. - andy , posted 10/17/04 |

Update on the review below: got some take out, a pad thai order and some pork/green bean rice plate. VERY skimpy portions, hardly worth the money. Don't know if this means the restaurant is going sour, or just that its take out is a rip-off. Surrounded by the abundant taquerias and Salvadorian papuserias of the 24th Street corridor, Chili Lemon Garlic - a.k.a. CLG - brings dazzling Thai food to the Mission.
