I fell in love with Charming Hostess in their "big band" days, when even during a night of horrible sound-systems-feedback-hell at the Starry Plough, they rocked my 1997 world. It's a different world now, and a different incarnation of this amazing creativity, vitality, and spunk that is Charming Hostess. Not only are all three current members absolute knock-out singers, they're not bad on the eyes, either.
