live jazz, but crowded
Bruno's is a cool place, but it gets way too crowded when it seems like everyone in the city is there to see the live jazz... which takes place in a strange, narrow cramped area. The music and vibe are great, but the venue itself leaves a lot to be desired in terms of accessibility. - Dave K. , posted 12/13/05

Cork Room my favorite in SF
I've heard many great performances at Bruno's. The musician filled audience says it all. - susan , posted 04/02/05

Fun drink spot with live music
not always the best food but fun atmosphere and the menu (and chef) seem to change regularly. good spot for group functions too. - mark , posted 07/12/04

Cozy ambiance, great music, good drinks, good food
Bruno's books a variety of jazz and jazz-flavored funk/latin/hip-hop from quality acts stuch as Alphabet Soup, Mingus Amungus, Scott Amendola, Marcus Shelby and more... The Cork Room is an intimate venue with great acoustics and a comfortable vibe. The food on the restaurant side is pretty good too, but the best part are the large booths and the swingin' rat-pack era decor. - Victor , posted 07/12/04
