All of the vets I have seen there were good with my ratlings, knew what they were doing, and not super expensive. In their old location, they had a separate entrance for cats and dogs; a considerate touch, I thought. I do NOT reccommend the VCA hospital on Shattuck. I recently experienced a medical emergency with my ever faithful canine companion. Having moved to Oakland , and yet to establish a new Vet, when my 160 lb Saint Bernard collapsed , I was unable to find anyone to help me, until I called Broadway Pet Hospital , they sent a tech to my location with a stretcher and we were able to bring my dog to the hospital. They were the only ones who were willing to help. They went way out of their way to help, and I highly recommend taking your pet's to these people. - Hort , posted 03/27/05 |

I switched over to this hospital from a chain one a few blocks away and I am very happy with their service. Prices seem right, and the doctors are all very friendly & thorough. I haven't felt like services were added to milk money out of me and my cats, well, they are cats and would be miserable anyway. - J , posted 10/08/04 |
