Not worth it...
I live close by, so I'd like nothing better than to be able to walk to a reliable dry cleaner to drop off/pick up my things. But after using this place for a few months I had to find somewhere else.
The first sign that something was wrong came when I asked the woman that works there to get some gum off a pair of my pants... when I got the pants back they had scrubbed so hard the fabric was basically worn through. I had to throw out the pants. $80 down the drain.
Then, what sent me over the edge was I dropped off a bunch of shirts and when I got home I realized that I had left a pair of cufflinks in one of the shirts. I went back and they told me the shirts had been sent out, but not to worry the cufflinks would be returned. A couple of days later I went back and got my shirts. No cufflinks. In fact, the lady there played the whole "cufflinks, what cufflinks?" game with me, but didn't end up convincing either of us. She told me she would call some other location where the shirts are cleaned and look into things. For a couple of weeks we went through a dance where she claimed to have forgotten to call or to not have been able to reach the right person.
Eventually, I just told her I needed the cufflinks. She went to the back of the store and returned with some cheap-ass cufflinks that looked nothing like what mine were like and offered these to me. I just told her (and the other people in the store) she had lost my business for life. And I lost a $135 pair of cufflinks.
