Best Dental Experience, by far
Dr. Natasha Lee's office, Better Living Through Dentistry, has always been comfortable, clean (without feeling sterile), with friendly staff and great music - usually some groovy downtempo or chill drum and bass - leaving me wishing they would turn it up and put some sub woofers in the office.
Dr. Lee herself spends quite a bit of time with her patients, and always takes the time to answer questions and discuss procedures, options, and any concerns you might have.
After moving to the East Bay, I figured I'd try another dentist, recommended by a friend. Boy, what a mistake! He was hurried, rough (hey, those are my gums you're jabbing in there!), and i left that appointment remembering why i always hated going to the dentist as a kid, and on into my adult life. No thanks.
Yesterday, I took the day off so I could ride into the city by BART, then up to the Sunset by bike for my overdue checkup and cleaning. It took most of my day, but it was time well spent. It was nice catching up with Emily, Natasha, and the rest of the staff, and it felt good to be back after nearly a year and a half, and my teeth are nice and clean.
Bottom line: I can't imagine a trip to the dentist being any more pleasant than this. Quit putting off that checkup - there's nothing to be afraid of here! Give them a call and schedule an appointment, and tell Dr. Lee that I sent you. :-)
