Nice but please tred lightly
It is a wonderful way to hike and pass the day but please be mindful that there are many residences on the paths and people who like things clean and quiet :) - Super Amanda , posted 12/13/04

Indian Rock is Lovely
Take the path where Solano and The Alameda meet and prepare to see one of the most wonderful views in the East Bay. - Unsubscribed , posted 12/12/04

Stairs and Pathways
It's always fun to take a nice walk during the day to explore the stairways built into Berkeley's hills above the campus. I live up in the hills and I always find something new and exciting on my stairway walks...last time I was out I came upon a lovely retaining wall contructed entirely of a found/broken tile & ceramic "mosaic". Beautiful! - sebastian , posted 12/12/04

a great way to hike the urban hills
Berkeley's hills are ridden with hidden stairs and pathways connecting back alleys and winding streets. They're gorgeous, and there's a lot of them. Worth wandering the hills for! - maribeth , posted 10/24/04
